I created two covers for the fictional magazine The Ragusaner, two years apart. The first was conceived as a statement against the lack of initiatives in my hometown, a reminder not to settle or let ourselves fade, even when our surroundings don’t give us enough space to shine. The second, created in 2026 for the magazine’s third season, coincided with my return to Sicily and marked the beginning of a new chapter with a simple yet deeply personal message: “Mum, Dad, I’m moving back to Sicily.” A return to my roots, to a land and the people who have always filled my heart.
